Problem statement
The app store preview screens have not been updated since 2021, resulting in an outdated design that no longer aligns with the current brand identity. The lack of clear messaging and ineffective highlighting of key differentiators contribute to lower engagement and conversion rates.

Hence, a redesign is needed to enhance clarity, ensure brand consistency, and improve the overall effectiveness of the preview screens.
Competitive analysis
Competitors increasingly use human imagery to create a more relatable experience and fewer app store screens to keep messaging concise. This approach enhances emotional connection and clarity, influencing our redesign to focus on key differentiators while maintaining brand consistency.
With these insights, I created a design that features a warm look and feel, enhancing emotional connection with human imagery while maintaining brand consistency and effectively communicating the app’s value.
Design: Iteration #1
We released Iteration #1 for a month, gathering both user and stakeholder feedback to evaluate its effectiveness.

User feedback:
Engagement data revealed which elements captured attention, while qualitative insights highlighted areas needing more clarity.

Stakeholder feedback: The marketing team emphasised the need for stronger messaging, while the product team suggested further refining the information hierarchy for better feature visibility.
Design: Iteration #2
To make the app store preview screens more concise and focused, I removed the user testimonial and helpline screen, as they did not directly contribute to showcasing the app’s core value. Instead, I prioritized essential product features and differentiators to ensure a clearer, more impactful message.Additionally, I updated the UI to a flat grey design to align with the new website style, creating a more cohesive brand experience across platforms. This shift helped maintain visual consistency while keeping the preview screens clean and modern.
